How to Hide any drive in Window 7 through Group policy

You can Hide any drive in Windows 7 . Suppose you want to hide New Volume ( D:)




Follow these steps to Hide New Volume (D:)

1. Click on Start button , then Type in Search box gpedit.msc to open Group policy editor  
then Press Enter
. 
2. In the Local Group policy Editor window Click on User Configuration , then Navigate Administrative templates , then Click on Window Component .
3. Double-click on Windows Explorer under Windows Component , then Double-click on
 Hide these specified drive in My computer .
4.  Click on Enabled Radio button ,then Select Restrict D drive only in Drop-Down list, 
Click Apply , then OK.
Now Go to the My Computer there is New Volume( D:)  Has been Hidden.
